Search by Location Using the Map Feature

Applicants who have created an Applicant Profile are now ready to begin searching for a position and applying.  Our map feature, located on the homepage, allows you to search for jobs by location or specific areas in Kansas. You can search for a position without having an Applicant Profile or Educate Kansas account, but you will be required to login once you have found a position to apply for.  To search and apply for a position using the map feature, follow the directions below:

Searching by location using the map:

1. The map feature, located on the homepage, allows you to search for jobs by specific regions and locations. The colored circles across the map represent the number of jobs located in a certain region. Use the tab in the upper right corner of the map to zoom in or zoom out in a certain region.
2. Click on a numbered circle to expand the map to show jobs in various locations in the region. Continue to click on numbered circles in the region to narrow your search until the circles change to pinpoint locations.
3. Click on a pinpoint to view the job title. Click on the job title to view the job details.
4. After viewing the job details, you can either apply for the job or return to using the map feature.
